Jo Lanyon

Born in St. Ives in 1957 but now lives and works in the beautiful east Cornwall village of St. Germans. The son of the internationally renowned Cornish artist Peter Lanyon, Jo has exhibited his work at various locations and has paintings in private collections, including those of the Duchess of Westminster and the band Massive Attack.
Jo’s work is bold, risky and intelligent. His work communicates an extraordinary and specific sense of place and the uncanny feeling that you are somehow in the artist’s head while he is viewing and soaking in the subject with all his senses.
