The Long Gallery

One of south-east Cornwall‘s largest art gallery spaces based at what was formerly known as the “Old School” in St. Germans, Cornwall and part of the historic Port Eliot Estate. The gallery is the perfect venue for corporate meetings or events as well as film screenings, presentations, receptions, location shoots and art or photographic exhibitions.

There is one large main gallery, a smaller gallery, an outside sculpture area and a further project space gallery. It also has a fully equipped kitchen for all your catering needs.

Tea Rooms – Tapas Bar & Entertainment

Tranquil tea rooms set within a walled garden in the picturesque village of St Germans, Cornwall. Open from 12.30 to 5.00pm daily Tuesday to Saturday.

The Long Gallery, offers the perfect place to enjoy a light home-cooked lunch, a relaxing afternoon tea, perhaps with delicious home-made cakes or scones, or somewhere to meet up with a few friends for drinks and tapas as part of an evening’s entertainment.

The interior is bright, informal and relaxed, the décor being the perfect mix of old and modern, with plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs to sink into when enjoying your evening out.

There are many interesting pieces of antique furniture and ornaments which contrast with the brightly coloured and vibrant modern paintings of local artist, Jo Lanyon, the son of the internationally renowned Cornish artist Peter Lanyon.

We have several function spaces available of varying sizes which are ideal for corporate meetings, weddings, birthdays, or other family celebrations or get-togethers.
